Voter Registration forms have been provided at public events throughout the Greenbrier County area. Among the events where we made available forms and information are:

Monday June 14, 2004 from 7-9pm at Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg, WV more than 450 people came to celebrate the principles of democracy and freedom that our flag stands for. Keynote Speaker Harry Belafonte "spoke passionately about the need for protection of the Bill of Rights" (Beckley Register Herald 6/15/04), and a panel of community members moderated by Humanities Scholar Joan C. Browning discussed various amendments. The event was videoed, and may be screened later. 2004 Flag Day Celebration
Ms. Andrea Robertson, a Monroe County 12th Grader at James Monroe High School won the $100 cash prize. Her essay was about the second amendment. 2004 BOR Student Essay Contest
ACLU Member, Richard Dulee handed out copies of the Bill of Rights, and joined Joan C. Browning in a discussion following a screening of the documentary Mighty Times: The legacy of Rosa Parks.
